PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

vpackager is a graphical development environment for Vector Linux's .tgz/.tlz packaging format. It includes a slack-desc writer to make sure that packages are created up to Vector Linux packaging standards, and adds man pages and dependancy tracking information to the packages. Also features a front-end to cruxports4slack that offers the most useable functions of the original cruxports4slack plus a ports search feature to easily find applications as well as dependency resolving.

DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PROJECT HAS MOVED TO A NEW HOME.

This project has a new home at http://developer.berlios.de/projects/vpackager/ All new development will be done there. We are in the transition of moving the code to the new home. The svn/trunk has been moved... The svn branches will not get moved... they will stay here and new branches will get created at the new location.

All new bugs / feature requests are to be filed at the new home
